Still excellently written and more rounding out of the characters from the first book but just not my favourite. And from the ancient citadel of Dragonstone to the forbidding shores of Winterfell, chaos reigns. A Clash of Kings transports us into a magnificent, forgotten land of revelry and revenge, wizardry and warfare.
